Marwan Rechmaoui - Monument for the LivingMarwan Rechmaoui – ‘Monument for the Living’. I especially like the work by this lebanese artist which was exhibited at Saatchi Gallery earlier this year. She creates concrete miniature buildings symbolizing urban development and social history. Overall the freshest work seems to be coming from the arab world, china and russia…. why?

blood flagAnd to end this post is an image of one of the ’sculptures’ in the park outside of the actual Frieze Fair.? A Flag impregnated of coagulated blood bares no sign and reminds London of its wars.
